Business responsibility: Businesses using Rango are responsible for providing notices and obtaining permissions or consents required for their use of call recording, messaging, social channels, automated communications, and collection of customer information.
For the 7-day demo, we collect the information needed to create and operate the demo, such as contact and business information, selected industry/playbook information, authorized demo channels, and demo conversation data. No credit card is required to create the demo. Demo access and demo data are subject to the demo lifecycle and may be disabled or deleted after the demo expires.
When you visit our website or use the member portal, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring URL, pages or features used, timestamps, security events, and similar usage information.
We use information to:
We do not sell customer conversation data or use a business's customer conversation data for third-party advertising.
We disclose information to service providers as reasonably necessary to operate Rango. Depending on the features used, these providers may include telecommunications and messaging providers, connected social platforms, cloud and database providers, authentication services, AI model or inference providers, payment processors, email delivery providers, analytics providers, and security vendors. Examples of providers used by parts of the Rango service may include Twilio, Supabase, Stripe, SendGrid, and the platforms a customer chooses to connect, such as WhatsApp or Messenger.
These providers process information subject to their contractual terms, privacy commitments, and the instructions applicable to the service they provide to us.
We may disclose conversation and lead information to the business account that uses Rango and to users, destinations, integrations, or contacts authorized by that business, including for notifications, routing, follow-up, and connected-channel functionality.
We may disclose information when required by law or legal process, or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, property, users, customers, the Service, or the public; investigate fraud or abuse; or respond to a security incident.
If the business responsible for Rango is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
We retain account and business information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, administer the account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Production conversation records, transcripts, summaries, and related metadata may be retained for up to 12 months unless a different retention period applies to an account, feature, legal obligation, or written agreement. Demo data follows the demo lifecycle and may be deleted after demo expiration. Some billing, security, audit, or legal records may be retained for longer periods when reasonably necessary.
You may request deletion of eligible information by contacting contact@myrango.com. We will process verified requests as required by applicable law and subject to legitimate retention obligations.
We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, authentication controls, logging, and security reviews. No method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may also use analytics technologies to understand website and product usage. Referral URLs and campaign parameters may be collected when they are provided by the referring service or browser.
You can control many cookie settings through your browser. Disabling essential cookies can prevent account or member-portal features from functioning correctly.

These rights and the obligations that apply to a particular request depend on the law, the type of information involved, and whether the law applies to Rango or to the business customer using Rango.
We do not sell personal information or customer conversation data. If our practices change in a way that creates additional opt-out rights under applicable law, we will update this policy and provide required controls.
